USANikola Corporation, a designer of zero-emission vehicle concepts based in Phoenix, Arizona, has announced it will be setting up hydrogen refuelling stations in three locations in the state of California, one of the launch markets for the company’s upcoming ‘Tre’ heavy electric trucks.

The three stations will be located in the cities of Colton and Ontario and in the Port of Long Beach. Further locations will be announced in the near future. Nikola is working with truck stop service provider TravelCenters of America to install the refuelling station in Ontario. At the Port of Long Beach, the manufacturer is partnering with Total Transportation Services Inc (TTSI), who signed a letter of intent to order 100 battery-electric and fuel-cell electric trucks from Nikola last year.
