Iveco Bus commits to using HTWO fuel cells as part of Iveco Group’s strategic partnership with Hyundai Motor Group

The Hyundai HTWO fuels cell to be used by Iveco Bus

Italy / South Korea - Iveco Group of Turin, Italy, through its brand Iveco Bus, has officially announced that it is to partner with Hyundai’s HTWO business unit to equip its future European hydrogen-powered buses with fuel cell systems.

Hyundai HTWO is a fuel cell system-based hydrogen business brand of Hyundai Motor Company, which has been at the forefront of the hydrogen economy with the world’s first mass-produced fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV), Hyundai TUCSON ix35 in 2013, followed by its FCEV lineup, including Hyundai NEXO SUV, ELEC CITY Fuel Cell Bus and XCIENT Fuel Cell heavy-duty truck. (HTWO, as a fuel cell system-based hydrogen business brand of Hyundai Motor Group, was first released in December 2020).
