MAN announces two axle eBus chassis in low floor, low entry and high floor options for world markets

MAN LF City E-Chassis (low floor)

Germany - At the IAA Transportation in Hanover, MAN Truck & Bus SE announced development of an eBus chassis for world markets.

The MAN eBus chassis is based on technologies from MAN’s proven Lion’s City E city bus  – such as the electric central motor on the rear axle and the reliable battery technology from the Volkswagen Group - for which, MAN says, it has more than 1,000 orders for delivery across Europe until the end of 2023. As a first step, MAN says, the eBus chassis will be available as a two-axle unit for use as a low-floor, low-entry and intercity bus (high floor) and it will be available in left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive variants.
