Impact to supply pepper motion with battery systems

Germany / Poland – pepper motion GmbH, a retrofit firm based in Denkendorf, Bavaria, Germany, announced in December that it has selected Impact Clean Power Technology SA of Warsaw, Poland to supply battery systems for its electric buses and trucks.
The German retrofit company has stated that Impact will manufacture complete battery systems based on a design specified by pepper motion. They will be modular systems, with a capacity of 60 kWh in each module. Nevertheless, pepper motion has said it will continue battery development at its research and development centre in Paderborn, North Rhine-Westphalia; battery R&D began there in 2021.
