USA – On 25 January, zero-emission truck manufacturer Nikola Corporation of Phoenix, Arizona launched a new brand, called ‘Hyla’, which will be affixed to all of Nikola’s hydrogen fuel products and services, including fuel production and distribution.

Under the Hyla brand, Nikola is aiming to produce up to 300 metric-tons of hydrogen per day and making it available to its own customers and to other truck OEMs. It ultimately plans to produce hydrogen in four areas in the United States: on the West Coast, the Gulf Coast, the Mid West, and the Mid Atlantic. It also plans to produce hydrogen in Canada together with Alberta-based TC Energy Corporation (60 metric-tons per day).
