CaetanoBus to supply EMT Madrid's first 10 hydrogen-powered buses

Spain / Portugal – Bus and coach manufacturer, CaetanoBus SA of Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, is set to supply 10 H2.City Gold hydrogen buses to Spanish transport operator, EMT Madrid in Q1 2024. These buses will run with the new generation of Toyota fuel cell stack and will be the first hydrogen-powered buses in EMT Madrid's fleet. The H2.City Gold hydrogen buses are scheduled to be delivered to start operation in Madrid’s city centre in 2024. This order will help CaetanoBus scale up production of the H2 City Gold model with orders for more than 115 units throughout Europe, including Germany, France, Portugal, Denmark and now Spain.
