Alexander Dennis receives 170 bus order from National Express

UK – UK coach operator, National Express, has selected bus manufacturer, Alexander Dennis Ltd (ADL) based in Larbert, Scotland, in partnership with Iver-based BYD UK Co Ltd, to supply 170 double-deck BYD ADL Enviro400EV electric buses, to be delivered by the end of 2024. The new order will take the number of BYD ADL Enviro400EV buses operated by National Express in the West Midlands to 329, making it the largest fleet of this type in the UK. This investment is part of National Express’s commitment to a zero-emission fleet by 2030.
