Continental appoints new Head of Sustainability 

Jorge Almeida is Continental’s new Head of Sustainability

Germany – Continental AG of Hanover, has appointed Jorge Almeida as its new Head of Sustainability, having taken over from Claus Petschick, who has retired. In his new role, he will be responsible for the sustainability activities of the company’s global tyre operations, with a focus on climate change mitigation, low-emission transportation, the circular economy and sustainable supply chains. Almeida has worked for Continental for 28 years in various departments including Finance, Human Relations and Procurement.
