Traton to integrate MAN and Volkswagen Truck & Bus in its groupwide financial services

Germany – Traton SE of Munich, Bavaria has announced that it will be integrating its subsidiaries MAN Truck & Bus and Volkswagen Truck & Bus Indústria e Comércio de Veículos Ltda into its groupwide financial services, launched over a year ago.
Traton has signed a framework agreement with its parent company, Volkswagen AG, which outlines the terms for selling and transferring the rights to provide financial services for MAN and Volkswagen Truck & Bus to Traton Financial Services. While MAN and Volkswagen Truck & Bus employees are set to join Traton in 14 markets, the existing customer contract portfolio will reportedly remain with Volkswagen Financial Services. Integration of the subsidiaries’ separate financial services is expected to complete in the second quarter of 2025.
