The first Irizar i6S Efficient coaches arrive in Israel and Portugal

Portugal / Israel / Spain – In July this year, the Irizar Group of Ormaiztegi, Spain announced that the first Irizar i6S Efficient coaches have arrived in Israel and Portugal. The company has organised events over several weeks in both countries for clients and prospective customers to see the new vehicles. The weight of the new generation i6S Efficient has been reduced by 950 kgs and its emissions reduced by up to 13% compared to previous generations. The coach is available on all European OEM Euro VI chassis on the market and as an integral version with two or three axles, from 10.78 to 15 metres, between 36 – 55 seats and with DAF engines (integral) from 364 hp to 522 hp.
In Israel, the first coaches (12.2 and 12.92 metres) have been delivered to EMCOL, part of the Allied Group and the exclusive distributor in the country. Irizar is hoping to grow its market share above its current level of 50%.
