Brazilian bus production grows by 26.8% in first six months of 2023

Brazil - According to data released by the National Association of Bus Manufacturers (Fabus), the Brazilian São Paulo-based bus body manufacturers association, the Brazilian body builders produced 10,336 units in the period January to June this year, up 26.8% compared with the 8,152 units manufactured in the same period of 2022.

Despite this growth in the first semester, in June there was a reduction of 1.3%, with 1,561 units manufactured, compared with 1,582 buses in June of last year, and a decrease of 3.7%, in relation to the month of May of this year (1,621 units).
