Eaton rebrands Vehicle Group and eMobility Businesses as the Mobility Group

USA – Ohio-based power management firm, Eaton Corporation, announced that it has changed the name of its Vehicle Group and eMobility businesses to the “Mobility Group”. The decision, while symbolizing its move towards electrification, the company will still serve the traditional ICE powertrains as the industry transitions to zero-emission transportation.

In 2022, Eaton acquired Royal Power Solutions, a manufacturer of critical electric components for the automotive based in Carol Stream, Illinois, USA. The USD 600 million acquisition was a strategic move in helping the company further the transition to EV transportation products.
