eActros 600 summer testing

Spain / Germany – Daimler Truck AG of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Baden-Württemberg has announced further summer testing of the Mercedes Benz eActros 600 long-haul battery-electric truck in Andalusia, Spain. The five-week test took place in sweltering heat of up to 44 degrees Celsius. These tests were designed to assess the air conditioning system, the electric powertrain and the battery thermal management system under extreme heat. Testing culminated with a 2,000 km return trip from Granada to the Mercedes-Benz Trucks development and testing centre in Wörth.

T&BB will attend the world premiere of the eActros 600 on October the 10th. The vehicle is planned to be ready for series production in 2024 at its facility in Wörth, Germany. The company will be producing both tractor and rigid variants at market launch, offering customers a long-haul electric truck to meet most needs.
