ZF produces one-millionth TraXon automated transmission for heavy-duty vehicles

One millionth TraXon produced at Friedrichshafen plant

Germany ZF Friedrichshafen AG of Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg has announced it surpassed a milestone of a million ‘TraXon’ automated transmission units produced globally since 2014. 

TraXon unit number 1,000,000 rolled off the production line at the company’s headquarters on 11 September, only eighteen months after ZF surpassed 500,000 units. The transmissions are also made at a plant in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China and a facility in Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brazil which opened mid-2022.
