Nikola appoints Mary Chan as COO

USA – Nikola Corporation, a manufacturer of electric trucks based in Phoenix, Arizona, has appointed Mary Chan as Chief Operating Officer, effective 9 October.
Mary Chan was Managing Partner at VectoIQ, the special-purpose acquisition company which Nikola merged with in 2020 in order to launch on the Nasdaq. Her background lies in telecommunications, having worked at companies such as Alcatel-Lucent and Dell. More recently, she served as President of the Global Connected Consumer group at General Motors, taking responsibility for launching 4G LTE across the corporation’s global brands. She currently serves as independent director on the boards of Magna International, SBA Communications, and CommScope.
