Hyundai Infracore to supply battery packs to Tata-Daewoo

Tata Daewoo truck range

South Korea - HD Hyundai Infracore Co Ltd, a South Korean manufacturer of construction vehicles and machinery based in Incheon, announced in October it plans to supply battery packs for a broad range of electric commercial vehicles as it looks to tap into fast-growing global demand for zero emission vehicles.

The announcement was made after Hyundai Infracore signed a deal to develop and supply battery packs to Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Ltd (TDCV), a local medium- and heavy-duty truck manufacturer controlled by India’s Tata Motors Ltd in Mumbai. The two companies said they plan to strengthen their cooperation to improve economies of scale in the EV segment.
