Daimler Buses Solutions to electrify bus depot in the Hague

Netherlands / Germany – After Daimler Buses GmbH set up its electric charging infrastructure subsidiary last year, Daimler Buses Solutions GmbH based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany, announced plans to electrify the HTM* bus depot in the Hague, Netherlands. Construction has begun, with the depot expected to be up and running by Q3 2024. The depot will be equipped with 41 charging stations (output of 360 kW) with a total number of 122 charging points. The result, up to four buses per charging station can be charged overnight at 90 kW.

The supply agreement includes the chargers, installation, maintenance, charging management software as well as the delivery of 95 Mercedes-Benz eCitaro city buses. Daimler Buses Solutions is working with local charging installation partners ABB E-mobility and Batenburg Techniek.
