Funded partly by the state of Baden-Württemberg, the project highlights how OEMs are now offering turnkey infrastructure solutions alongside vehicles, ensuring operators can scale zero-emission fleets efficiently.
The company announced plans to electrify the HTM bus depot in the Hague, Netherlands. Construction has begun, with the depot expected to be up and running by Q3 2024. The supply agreement includes the chargers, installation, maintenance, charging management software as well as the delivery of 95 Mercedes-Benz eCitaro city buses.
The company will provide European customers with its electric bus charging solutions. Dietrich Müller, previously Head of E-Systems at Daimler Buses has been appointed Managing Director of Daimler Buses Solutions.
