USA – Multinational tech company Nvidia Corporation of Santa Clara, California has announced it is supplying its next-generation automotive computer architecture – boasting a processing power of up to 2,000 teraflops – to multiple OEMs and developers of autonomous driving technologies, including Plus and Waabi.

The ‘Nvidia Drive Thor’ was announced nearly two years ago as the successor to ‘Drive AGX Orin’, its most powerful automotive computer architecture to date. Thor is based on a different graphics processing unit microarchitecture, called ‘Blackwell’, and boasts greater processing power for supporting the complex workloads associated with autonomous driving.
