Improved economy in Peru boosts CV sales 7.1% in the first half of 2024

Peru – Total sales of heavy commercial vehicles (including trucks, buses and minibuses, in Peru during the first half of 2024 reached 8,807 units, up 7.1% compared with 8,220 units in the same period in 2023. According to data from AAP (Automotive Association of Peru), 7,515 trucks and tractors were registered in January to June 2024, an increase of 4.4% on 7,195 units registered in the same period of 2023.

Sales of tractor units (1,465) and rigid trucks (6,050) totalled 7,515 units in the first semester, an increase of 4.4% from 7,196 in the first half of 2023. In June, there was a decline of 4.5%, with 1,149 units, compared to 1,203 units in the same month of the previous year.
