PlusVision now available on Ambarella system-on-chip for optimised performance

USA – Plus Inc of Santa Clara, California has announced that its perception software for ADAS and autonomous vehicles is now available as a system-on-chip solution from Ambarella Inc (also of Santa Clara), making for easier integration in OEM and Tier-1 systems.
‘PlusVision’ – vehicle perception software which Plus launched earlier this year – can now be procured on an Ambarella ‘CV3-AD655’ system-on-chip which, according to Plus, offers “industry-leading AI performance per watt”. The chip can deliver a peak performance of 11 cameras being simultaneously processed at thirty frames per second without demanding lots of power.
