Schmitz opens new warehouse to expand spare parts capacity in Altenberge

Inside the new Schmitz spare parts warehouse in Altenberge, North Rhine-Westphalia

Germany – Schmitz Cargobull AG, a trailer manufacturer based in Horstmar, North Rhine-Westphalia, has opened a new warehouse at its main spare parts facility, expanding the quantity and availability of its aftermarket products.

The new manually-operated warehouse comprises eight narrow aisles, with a rack height of fourteen metres. There are 3,300 spaces for pallet cages, Euro pallets, and half pallets. In addition to Schmitz products, the new warehouse will also store parts for Berger Fahrzeugtechnik, a specialist in lightweight trailers.
