Parker renews partnership with Fraunhofer in fuel cell components research and development

USA / GermanyParker Hannifin Corporation, a motion and control technologies specialist based in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, USA, has announced that it has renewed its research and development partnership with the Munich-based Fraunhofer Society to develop more advanced air filtration for hydrogen fuel cells.

Parker’s ‘Engine & Mobile Filtration Division EMEA’, which is headquartered in Dewsbury, UK, will work once again with the Fraunhofer Institute for Microengineering and Microsystems, which helped it to develop a fuel cell test rig at its R&D facility in Stuttgart. The aim of the new project partnership will be to further develop air adsorption in fuel cell humidification.
