France – Renault Trucks SAS, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group based in Saint-Priest, France, has launched sales of its heavy-duty trucks for model year 2025, featuring improvements to safety, driveability, and fuel economy.
In 2025, the Renault Trucks ‘T’, ‘T High’, ‘C’, and ‘K’ ranges will be more fuel efficient than before. Thanks to tweaks made to the engine, gearbox, and axles, as well as fitting class A+ tyres as standard, these trucks boast reduced fuel consumption of up to 3%. (This, on top of the 10% savings achieved with the introduction of the DE13 engine with turbo compound technology.) A variant of the T and T High, dubbed “Smart Racer”, will offer further savings, lowering fuel consumption by 14% and CO2 emissions by 15% compared with the standard option.
