UFI filters for FPT's XC13 Cursor engine
Italy – In September, UFI Filters SpA of Porto Mantovano, Italy announced that it has developed a new series of original equipment filters for the ‘Cursor XC13’ engine platform, shown at the recent IAA by FPT Industrial of Turin.
UFI Filters’ new fuel-filter module integrates the filter and the diesel pre-filter in a single package. The pre-filter uses a synthetic medium (‘FormulaUFI.Extreme’), together with a hydrophobic inner septum, to achieve water separation of up to 96%. The filter combines meltblown and cellulose materials (‘FormulaUFI.Stratiflex’) to achieve a filtration capacity of 98% at 4 microns.
