UK – Mellor Bus of Rochdale has discontinued its electric bus range and is focusing on its “core” market – minibus conversions for specialist and welfare transportation – according to Gustavo Marqueta-Siibert, who spoke to Truck & Bus Builder at Euro Bus Expo 2024, held at the NEC in Birmingham between 12-14 November.
Marqueta-Siibert continues to lead business development at the company since it was acquired by Belgian businessman, Guido Dumarey, at the end of last year. He told T&BB that the British minibus market is doing “great”; together with its sister company Treka, Mellor has sold approximately 650 units in 2024 alone.
