Kia unveils new Tasman pickup truck in Saudi

Kia Tasman pickup truck launched in Saudi

Saudi Arabia / South Korea - Kia Corporation, headquartered in Seoul, unveiled its new Tasman pickup truck at the Jeddah International Motor Show in Saudi Arabia in October, continuing its efforts to expand its commercial vehicle range. Earlier this year, the company released teaser images of the Tasman to the world media.

The Kia Tasman will be the Hyundai Motor Group’s first one-ton pickup truck when it goes on sale in global markets in 2025, a segment currently dominated by Japanese firms such as Toyota, Isuzu, and Mitsubishi. Chinese automakers have also recently stepped up their efforts to expand into this segment.
