New Flyer renews bus axle supply contract with MAN

Canada / Germany – New Flyer Industries Canada ULC, a bus manufacturer and subsidiary of the NFI Group based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, has renewed a supply agreement for front and rear axles made by MAN Truck & Bus SE of Munich, Bavaria, Germany for another five years.
According to the terms of the contract, MAN will supply New Flyer with “several thousand” ‘V0K-08’ front axles and ‘HY-1350’ rear axles which, together with accompanying spare parts, are worth more than USD200m. These will be fitted onto the 35-foot, 40-foot, and 60-foot models in New Flyer’s ‘Xcelsior’ transit bus range.
