Simon Blümcke joins ZF as new Zeppelin Foundation representative

Germany – Mobility products and systems supplier ZF Friedrichshafen AG has announced the appointment of Simon Blümcke, the representative of ZF’s majority owner, the Zeppelin Foundation, to the group supervisory board, following his election as mayor of the city of Friedrichshafen.

Blümcke was elected by the city as its new mayor in September and took up the post on 1 December. He succeeds the former mayor, Andreas Brand, who has handed over his seat on the supervisory board of ZF. Blümcke represents the interests of the Zeppelin Foundation, which holds a 93.8% stake in the ZF Group.
