Iveco formally transfers ownership of Magirus to Mutares

Italy / Germany – After receiving the necessary regulatory approval, Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer, the Iveco Group based in Turin, has formally transferred the ownership of its firefighting vehicle manufacturing unit (Magirus GmbH) to German private equity firm, Mutares SE & Co. KGaA. The fee remains undisclosed.

Magirus manufactures firefighting vehicles and equipment, produced across Germany, Italy, France and Austria. Last year, the unit accounted for 2% of Iveco’s revenues in 2023.
