A momentous year for Bollinger Motors and its B4 Chassis Cab in the USA

Bollinger B4

USA – With news late last year that the B4 Chassis Cab* electric truck produced by Bollinger Motors Inc (a subsidiary of Mullen Automotive Inc based in Oak Park, Michigan) entered into series production at Bollinger’s facility in Livonia, Michigan, the company has reached significant milestones including expanding its sales and aftermarket network in the U.S. First, in the Midwest, Bollinger has partnered with Broadway Ford Truck Center in St. Louis, Missouri, bringing its EV offerings to the Midwest. The company also announced a formal partnership with the National Auto Fleet Group (NAFG), a family family-owned business that sells and services vehicles to government agencies in the United States. NAFG has been contracted to expand government efforts to electrify its fleets.

Staying with municipal affairs, Bollinger Motors' all-electric B4 Chassis Cab is now eligible for the New York Truck Voucher Incentive Program (NYTVIP), which offers up to USD 100,000 in incentives for commercial electric vehicles from the New York State Energy and Research Development Authority (NYSERDA). This eligibility allows Bollinger to sell its vehicles to customers in New York, potentially reducing the purchase price by up to USD 100,000. Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania also have zero-emission subsidies available for the B4. Additionally, the B4 qualifies for a Federal (IRS) USD 40,000 U.S. tax credit for commercial clean vehicles under the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The hope is that these substantial incentives enhance the B4's appeal to commercial fleet operators, likely boosting Bollinger Motors' sales and market presence in New York and the broader U.S.
