Demand for Brazil’s semi-trailer, drawbar trailer and truck body products grows 5.4% in 2024

Brazil - The Brazilian Road Implements sector (semi-trailers, drawbar trailers and bodies for trucks) grew by 5.4% in 2024 to 159,203 units compared with 151,041 in 2023, according to the National Association of Road Implement Manufacturers (ANFIR) based in São Paulo.
The semi-trailer and drawbar trailer segment recorded a decline in sales of 1.9% at 88,599 units, compared with 90,322 units in 2023. In contrast, the body on chassis segment continued to recover and grew by 16.3% to 70,604 units compared with 60,719 in the same period of 2023.
