USA – Avon, Ohio-based Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse AG of Munich, Germany) is making significant investments to enhance its Huntington, Indiana operations, investing in the efficiency of its North American supply chain within the commercial vehicle industry.

The company is undertaking a multimillion-dollar upgrade of its Bendix Distribution Centre (BDC), integrating advanced automation technologies such as automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) and a warehouse control system (WCS) to better manage stock. This transformation aims to improve safety, ergonomics, and material flow, with completion expected by late 2025. These strategic initiatives are part of Bendix's broader plan to increase capacity, streamline logistics, and meet evolving customer demands. The Huntington campus, now spanning 855,000 square feet across four buildings, continues to play a pivotal role in the company's growth.
