Brazilian bus body production grows 15.5% in Q1 of 2025

Brazil - According to data from the National Association of Bus Manufacturers (Fabus), bus body manufacturing companies produced 5,510 units from January to March, a result 15.5% higher than in the first quarter of 2024 (4,769 units).

In March, 2,140 units were manufactured, an increase of 22.7% compared with March last year (1,745 units), and 13.5% more compared with February this year (1,885 units). In the quarter, 2,407 urban or city bus bodies were produced, up 5.5% from the 2,282 units manufactured in the same period in 2024.1,665 highway (coach) bodies were built, up 10.7% from the 1,504 units produced last year,
