Motherson to make further investments in REE Automotive

Israel / India - Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd (SMIL), through its wholly owned Dutch subsidiary, Samvardhana Motherson Automotive Systems Group B.V. (SMRP B.V.) based in Amsterdam, Netherlands is set to invest up to USD 7 million in Israel-based, REE Automotive Ltd.1 This move is aimed at maintaining SMRP B.V.’s existing ownership stake in the company as REE raises fresh capital to support the commercialization of its order book.

As of their last reported transaction in September 2024, SMRP B.V. held 18.6% of REE Automotive’s ordinary share capital and 11% on a fully diluted basis. This investment reflects SMIL's continued commitment to its strategic partnership with REE, which focuses on electric vehicle (EV) platforms and next-generation mobility solutions.
