Daimler Truck appoints Raghavendra Vaidya as new Chief Information Officer

Germany - Daimler Truck AG (based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Baden-Württemberg) has announced that Raghavendra Vaidya has taken over from Marcus Claesson as Chief Information Officer (CIO) on June 1, 2025. Claesson has left the company. Vaidya now oversees the company's IT strategy, ensuring technology systems support manufacturing, logistics, and connected vehicle services. This includes overseeing cybersecurity, cloud computing, and data analytics to improve efficiency, innovation, and customer experience.

Vaidya was previously the Managing Director and CEO of Daimler Truck Innovation Centre India, which oversaw IT operations in India. He brings prior leadership experience from General Electric and Mercedes-Benz R&D India.
