Kia opens order book of new PV5 LCV range

Kia’s PV5 battery-powered van range

South Korea - Kia Corporation, headquartered in Seoul, in May started taking pre-orders for its new PV5 light van and minibus range – see PV5 launch by KIA at CV Show in the UK. The PV5 is the first in a series of battery-powered purpose-built vehicles (PBVs) that the company plans to launch over the next several years, based on Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP dedicated electric vehicle platform.

The PV5 is a mid-sized PBV light commercial vehicle (LCV) designed both for passenger and cargo transportation. It will be available as a passenger minibus, for commuting and family leisure activities, and as a panel van for last-mile cargo deliveries.
