Belgium – The European Zero-Emission Bus Conference (ZEB 2025) will take place from 7 to 9 October at Busworld Europe in Brussels, bringing together public transport authorities, operators and vehicle manufacturers to discuss the practical and technical challenges of deploying zero-emission buses at scale. The event will focus on accelerating decarbonisation in urban and regional bus networks while ensuring operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction.

Sessions will examine fleet electrification, charging and refuelling infrastructure, energy management, and innovations in maintenance and operations. Speakers are expected to highlight how integrated digital tools, including real-time fleet monitoring, predictive maintenance and smart route planning, can help operators transition efficiently to zero-emission buses.

Delegates will also discuss funding mechanisms, EU-level policy coordination, and public-private collaboration to overcome barriers to large-scale deployment. The conference will provide insights into how Europe can deliver cleaner, more sustainable bus services without compromising service reliability or accessibility.

The ZEB 2025 Conference will continue to position itself as a key forum for shaping Europe’s zero-emission bus strategy, aligning technological innovation, operational expertise and regulatory support to achieve ambitious climate and mobility targets.
