Following the recent launch of its new generation electric hybrid system, eGen Flex, Allison Transmission has announced it will supply three units with partners Cummins and bus manufacturer, Gillig Corporation to IndyGo, the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation.

Allison Transmission Inc and bus manufacturer, Gillig Corporation have signed an agreement allowing Gillig to offer Allison’s eGen Flex electric hybrid propulsion system from 2021.
