Mumbai – GreenCell Mobility Pvt Ltd¹ of Mumbai is set to run its first intercity electric bus, under the brand name NueGo, for Maharashtra Regional State Transport (MSRTC) on June 1, 2022. The bus will be running on the route between Pune- Ahmednagar. 

These buses will be able to run for 250 km on a single charge and will be fitted with Li-ion batteries that support fast charging in under two hours.  

GreenCell Mobility will be deploying 50 of these electric buses for intercity travel across Maharashtra for MSRTC in the cities of Pune, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Nasik and Solapur. 10 buses will operate between Pune and Aurangabad as an extension of the Pune Ahmednagar route; while 12 buses will run on the Pune – Kolhapur route; 18 buses will operate between Pune – Nasik and 10 buses between Pune - Solapur.
