European charging network JV is launched, CEO appointed

Anja van Niersen, CEO of charging network JV between Traton, Daimler Truck and Volvo

Netherlands – A charging infrastructure joint venture announced at the end of last year between major commercial vehicle corporations Traton SE, Daimler Truck AG, and AB Volvo has received the relevant regulatory approvals and will begin operations this year, according to an announcement published by Traton. 

Anja van Niersen is announced as the CEO of the new joint venture, which will be a self-standing legal entity (yet to be given a name), headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Van Niersen has long worked in the energy and charging sectors, having served most recently as Chairman of the Board of a major European electric vehicle charging network provider.
