Quantron ends distribution partnership with Karsan

Germany / Turkey – Quantron AG, an electrification specialist based in Gersthofen. Bavaria, Germany, has announced it will no longer distribute products developed and manufactured by Karsan of Bursa, Turkey. The move is in line with Quantron’s strategy to become an original equipment manufacturer of commercial electric vehicles on the global market.
Quantron states it will continue to provide aftersales services, including technical support, to its customers for their Karsan products. However, the German company is intent on focusing its efforts on developing and promoting its own complete vehicles, including the ‘Cizaris’ 12m electric bus which it launched earlier in the year.
