The Iveco and Plus automated truck testing is set to expand to Austria, Italy and Switzerland

Iveco S-Way with PlusDrive enabled autonomous driving capabilities

Germany / Italy/ Austria/ Switzerland – As previously reported by T&BB, testing of the Iveco Bus / Plus Inc heavy-duty truck (Iveco S-Way) installed with Plus’s level 4 autonomous driving technology (‘PlusDrive’), is set to expand from Germany into Austria, Italy and Switzerland in March 2023 in order to collect more complex road data and ultimately go into series production. The PlusDrive-enabled Iveco S-Way truck is designed to improve efficiency, safety and eventually deal with the macro issue of driver shortages across Europe.
