Chile - The Chilean market completed the first six months of 2023 with different performances in the truck and bus segments. The result reflects a slowing economy and stagnating productivity.

Mercedes-Benz led the truck segment with 1,226 trucks registered, a total that corresponded to 18.3% of market share: Mercedes-Benz was followed by Volvo Trucks with 694 units and 10.9% market share; Scania, with 599 and 9.40% and Volkswagen, with 510 and 8.0%. In fifth position, Chevrolet ranked with 498 trucks and a 7.90% market share.
