LGES to supply NMC cells to Impact for battery GigafactoryX in Poland

Poland / South Korea - November 2023 saw Leading electric vehicle battery manufacturer, LG Energy Solution Ltd (LGES), headquartered in Seoul, has announced it has signed a deal to supply 200,000 battery cell modules over a three-year period to Impact Clean Power Technology (ICPT), a Polish supplier of heavy-duty battery systems for commercial vehicles and other transportation vehicles.
LGES said it is to supply the NMC lithium-ion battery cell modules beginning this year from its plant in Biskupice Podgorne, Wroclaw in Poland to ICPT’s GigafactoryX plant in Pruszkow, where they are to be assembled into complete battery packs and systems also starting in 2024.
