USA – The previously-announced joint venture for domestic battery cell production created by American manufacturers Paccar, Daimler Truck North America, and Cummins will be called “Amplify Cell Technologies”, according to a press release from Paccar.
Working with Chinese technology partner, EVE Energy, which holds a 10% stake in the joint venture, Amplify Cell Technologies will develop its own lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery cells and produce them at scale at a planned facility in Marshall County, Mississippi.
