USA / South Korea - Hyundai Motor Company (HMC), South Korea’s leading automaker headquartered in Seoul, announced it is expanding its hydrogen truck business in the US through a partnership with California-based non-profit organisation Centre for Transportation and the Environment (CTE).

Hyundai attended the recent official launch of the NorCAL Zero Project, a California-based zero-emissions freight transportation initiative targeting the San Francisco Bay Area and California’s Central Valley. The vehicle maker confirmed it was selected as an eco-friendly commercial vehicle supplier for the project back in 2021.
