Chile CV sales fall for second year in a row to total below 15,000 units in 2024

Chile - Sales of commercial vehicles in Chile fell by 9.3% to 14,267 in 2024 compared with the previous year of 15,723 units in 2023, according to data supplied by the Santiago-based National Automotive Association of Chile (ANAC). The association said weak business confidence, low investment rates and the slow approval of new projects have further determined the performance of the market.

Trucks sales in 2024 fell by 3.5% to 12,203 units (12,650 units in 2023) and despite a small rally of 7.3% in December to 1,282 units compared with 1,195 in the same month last year.
