The facility is being built in the technological-industrial development zone near Skopje and represents a significant investment, making it the company’s fifth global factory.

A contract has been signed with the North Macedonia Free Zones Authority (TIDZ), which has helped with finding suitable land and tax incentives and which is expected to see more than 60 production lines be built by 2028.

Volker Ritzert has become the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BMZ Germany, effective August 1, 2023. Ritzert replaces outgoing CEO, Sven Bauer, who becomes Group CEO.

Oliver Makko has been appointed the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), replacing Jörg Dinkat, and Andreas Krist as Chief Product Officer (CPO), replacing Oliver Reichertz.
