The HÜBNER Group is an integral part of this megatrend. As the global market leader for gangway systems in trains and articulation systems in buses. So we are a major supplier of sealing systems for buses and trains, HÜBNER has been providing innovative products to the transport sector for decades.

The HÜBNER business segment Material Solutions is the specialist for sophisticated solutions featuring elastomers, polyurethane as well as industrial textiles. Our focus is on innovative, technically challenging products for high-growth markets such as building and construction, aerospace, healthcare as well as the mobility sector. 

At the same time, we offer the economical and versatile fiber composite FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) as well as innovative products for the insulation of buses and trains and for building and industrial applications. Last but not least, we are the main supplier of the HÜBNER Mobility business segment, providing products and solutions that conform with the demanding fire-safety requirements specified by EN standards for the transportation sector.

HÜBNER Photonics produces cutting edge laser light sources and is making important developments in other wave-based technologies such as terahertz imaging. HÜBNER Photonics  brings together the proven values of the HÜBNER Group with creative ideas and state-of-the-art technology in its developments for applications in the whole electromagnetic spectrum.

THE HÜBNER Group is working towards greater sustainability every day: In Accordance with company strategy, HÜBNER takes a comprehensive cross-divisional approach to sustainability – using the most environmentally compatible production processes available and resource-saving solutions in manufacturing, product transport and at the company's locations themselves.

The HÜBNER Group is part of the EcoVadis network, a globally recognized platform that helps companies assess and improve the sustainability performance of their suppliers. The rating system considers environmental, social, and ethical standards as well as supply chain risks across 200 purchasing categories and 160 countries.

Recently, the HÜBNER Group was able to significantly increase its rating. Particularly in the environmental category, we improved our score to 80 out of 100 achievable points. With a total of 65 out of 100 possible points, HÜBNER is now in the upper range of the Silver rating and ranks among the top 13 percent of evaluated companies in 2023.
